The Erasmus+ project “Fostering the Re-integration of Rehabilitated Young Women through Ecotourism Opportunities” hosted a focus group in Greece on November 15, 2023, at Learning Seed’s office. This initiative addresses social exclusion and fosters skill development and employability for young women aged 16-26 who have faced addiction, discrimination, or marginalization. The session involved diverse stakeholders, including local authorities, cultural professionals, and students.

The focus group highlighted the potential of ecotourism to empower women, bridging gaps between marginalized groups and societal acceptance. The feedback will inform project strategies, such as tailored training programs and initiatives promoting sustainability and inclusivity.

This project exemplifies how local communities, when sensitized and engaged, can be transformative forces for marginalized individuals striving for reintegration.
